Electrosmog is an environmental toxin of the 21st century. Compulsive communication has become part of our every moment and we do not question its side effects. The artificial electric fields which now cloak us entail positive ions. These are particles which loses an electron. These ions sap energy, weaken immunity and effects emotional behaviour. Electromagnetic frequencies create high levels of excess acid in the body which causes an extra drain on our calcium levels and other key mineral elements which are necessary for strong cell structure. Human cells are slightly alkaline with an ideal pH balance of 7.4. When the body becomes acidic oxygen is reduced, making us more prone to fatigue, infection, inflammatory diseases and cancer.

The media reported in November 2012 that according to Yale School of Medicine researchers, cellphone radiation exposure during pregnancy impacts foetal brain development and may cause hyperactivity. Cellphone manufacturers, including Blackberry and Apple, also say consumers should keep devices away from the body due to potential safety risks but these warnings often go unnoticed because they are featured in device manuals.

In 2011, the World Health Organization's cancer arm said cellphones could cause cancer and called for more research. Some other countries around the world, including France, have banned companies from advertising cellphones to children due to the possible risks.

Healthy Solutions
