MAJLIS IN DISARRAY AFTER KINDLING THE FIRE |
|
The Majlis?s mudslinging stunt on a labeling error on Lancewood cottage
cheese has all the hallmarks of desperation from their proprietor and prophet
of gloom, Molvi Desai.
Here is a reminder of the facts:-
1. The ?phantom couple? that
allegedly separated over this cheese matter reported only by the Majlis have
remained just that i.e. a phantom.
We have written to the press to help us track down this couple but to no avail.
2. It was a lie then and still a lie now, that the cheese itself was Haraam
and contained pork. No pork or any other Haraam ingredient was used and consequently
even consumed.
3. The proof of the pudding is in the eating and not hyperbolic bleating. Where
is the proof that ?Muslims have been fed pork items for years?,
?so called errors were discovered by members for the Muslim public,?
?there is a 100 % certitude that the repeated pork errors are not labeling
errors.? etc.
Molvi Desai?s behavior fits the description mentioned in the Noble Quran
in Surah Baqarah Verse 17 and 18 in the parable of a man who kindled a fire
which we have reproduced below.
Surah Baqrah Verse 17 and 18
?Their similitude is that of a man who kindled a fire when
it lighted all around him, Allah took away their light and left them in utter
darkness. So they could not see.
Deaf, dumb, and blind they will not return ( to the path)?
Commentary: The man wanted light; he only kindled a fire. It
produced a blaze, and won the applause of all around. But it did not last long.
When the flame went out as was inevitable, the darkness was worse than before.
And they all lost their way. So hypocrisy, deception, arrogant compromise with
evil, cynicism, or duplicity may win temporary applause. But the true light
of faith and sincerity is wanting, and therefore it must mislead and ruin all
concerned. In the consternation they cannot speak or hear each other, and of
course they cannot see; so they end like the deliberate rejecters of faith (2:7),
wildly groping about, dumb, deaf, and blind.
We pray that Allah (SWT) shows us the Truth as Truth guides us towards it and
shows falsehood as falsehood and helps us to abstain from it.
Was Salaam
Yours sincerely
