The Rising Sun has acknowledged, accepted responsibility and apologised for the printing error in their Fordsburg/Mayfair issue of 1/09/2011 where a Bacon & Avo burger was shown in a Steers Halaal store advert.

The store, Steers Amalgam, is most definitely Muslim owned, certified by SANHA and accordingly no non-Halaal products have ever been used or are permitted on the premises.
